Donald Bickel has worked with countless companies to redefine themselves online, stand out from the crowd, automate business processes, and develop web-based applications to make their businesses more successful. He leads Mercury’s team of architects, designers, developers and engineers in the design, development, crafting and maintenance of web, mobile and data driven solutions.
His areas of focus are in system architecture development, database design and implementation, web application coding and interface design and implementation. Donald is passionate about helping clients solve wicked problems and shipping.
Donald received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering summa cum laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is an active member of the Florida .NET User Group, Tampa SharePoint User Group and Tampa Bay Technology Forum. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay SQL User Group.
Christopher Karlo has over 15 years of experience in business and technology consulting with companies across a host of industries. Working with companies ranging in size from startups to the Fortune 100, he has helped clients identify opportunities to improve their profitability through the use of technology. As a partner at Mercury New Media, he works closely with clients to understand their business and develop innovative strategies to improve their online impact.
Chris has proven experience leading complex, software development teams; bringing a combination of business and technical acumen to client project needs. During his career, Chris has worked with companies to develop new growth strategies, redesign core operational & business processes and distinguish them from their competitors.
Chris received his Master of Business Administration, with concentrations in finance, strategic management and organizational behavior, from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. In addition, Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors with majors in finance and marketing from the University of Florida. He serves as an active member of Kiwanis Club of Tampa, Leadership Tampa Alumni and Tampa Bay Technology Forum. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Joshua House Foundation and Leadership Tampa Bay.
