Mercury Wins in the 1st Annual MobileWebAward Competition

Mercury New Media wins the Best Broadcasting Mobile Website in the 1st annual 2012 MobileWebAward Competition for its work on the WPDS-TV 14 Mobile Website.

WPDS-TV14, Pinellas County Schools’ television, is a low-power television station that is licensed to the school district by the Federal Communications Commission. The station provides locally produced educational and entertainment programming designed to provide an alternative to regular network television. The station provides programming on a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week schedule to more than 900,000 homes in Pinellas County.

The MobileWebAwards Competition was developed by the Web Marketing Association to honor excellence in mobile websites and apps, to recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and to showcase the best in award winning mobile development. Each site is  judged on seven criteria including design, impact, content, creativity, interactivity, use of the medium and ease of use.  Mercury New Media is pleased to add increased recognition to such a valued client.
